The Devon Folk AGM for the year ending 31st December 2025 will be held at 11.00 at Tavistock Football Club (The Red and Black Social Club). Parking is available at Langsford Park, Crowndale Road, PL19 8QQ. The AGM will be followed by a talk on Devon Folk Song by Jim Causley. There
will also be Morris dancing in the town at 11.30 and music & song sessions from 1.00 until 6.00.
Anyone is welcome to attend the AGM but if you are intending to send two members of your club to vote at the meeting, could you ensure that you have already given our membership secretary (Mrs A. Gill) their names and addresses. If you have not done this for the current year, your two nominated
members will not be included on her list of those entitled to register a vote at the AGM.
Devon Folk Committee currently has several vacancies. We are always pleased to welcome new members to the committee especially those who have an interest in an under-represented aspect of Folk within the county or are from an area where we do not at present have an active presence on the committee. Full committee meetings are usually held near Exeter four times a year on a Saturday morning, in addition to the business meeting held after the AGM.
